With more than 160 colleagues from offices in Ashton under Lyne, Leigh and in our supported accommodation projects across the North West, we support over 6,000 people annually through the contracts we manage.
This position is within our support service for Rough Sleepers Accommodation Programme within the Liverpool City Region.
The programme will provide intensive wrap around support to people with experience of rough sleeping, that have complex and multiple needs, to enable them to live as independently as possible and gain the skills and confidence to sustain a tenancy and live a fulfilling life. Service Users will be accommodated in self-contained properties dispersed throughout the City region for up to two years and supported to move on to more permanent accommodation.
Role information:
The Keyworker will work across shifts to cover the service from 8am-8pm, including some weekends and bank holidays. They will carry a small caseload and offer intensive person centered, wrap around support to address any barriers to tenancy sustainment and move on to permanent accommodation. These barriers could include substance use, mental and physical health difficulties, offending, domestic abuse, debt and money management issues.
You will need to be aware of the principles of trauma informed care and be able to work in a strengths-based way, building on the person’s strengths and linking them to community assets in order to aid community integration.
